Interesting way to defend a free kick

Makes you wonder why the attacking team didnt stick seven players in front of the fellas standing on the line, and then just larrup it.
Btw, I went through the icons to find a decent free kick taker for WHU. apart from Tevez and Tony Gale, have we EVER had a decent free kick taker?

This worked because the attacking team are shocked by it though, I reckon if it became popular then all you would see is attackers pushing further up right on to the line as well.

Dicksey weren't too bad. Remember a decent free kick, v Forest circa 94. Also at Sheff Wed 90/91 but that may have been rolled to him to strike

Now that refs NEVER give indirect free kicks for obstruction you never see the whole team lined up on the goal line and the keeper charging out.
Used to love being in goal for one of them.

Wouldn't you just have someone standing in front of the goalkeeper from an attacking point of view?

NOBLE GOOD AT FREE KICKS?!?!?!
No exaggeration that is probably the dumbest thing I have read on here.
He never shoots, rarely gets it over the wall and when he does it's floated into the keepers arms.
Next you will be saying he is the best corner taker in the league....

no wall? if you smash it hard enough, it is bound to go in. unless those players use their hands

Easily countered
Put a player either side of the goalie preventing him from diving to either side then blast it low & hard to either side close to either player next to the goalie
